This is a portrait of a close family friend I've known all my life whom has always worked on farms or ranches and has always embodied the idea of the American cowboy in everything he does. His late wife, Red, asked me to do this painting and my only regret is I did not complete it before she passed.

A modern take on a classic fairy tale in an urban setting. A girl, face light by her mobile phone as she walks and earnestly studies the screen. Keri commissioned me to do this piece for their 10th wedding anniversary. It also has special meaning to me as this shot was taken a few years ago while a large group of us was out having a great night on the town. The picture was taken in Three Kings bar here in Denver.
